What is peptide stacking?
- "Stacking" means taking 2 or more peptides at the same time, or a pre-mixed blend.
- Online, people talk about stacks for weight loss, muscle, healing and skin.
- We rate FDA status, proof and safety on their own. A mix needs its own testing. Two peptides that were each tested alone were not tested together.
Is it safe to stack peptides?
- No one can say it is safe. We searched PubMed for trials of popular stacks like BPC-157 + TB-500 and CJC-1295 + ipamorelin in people. We found reviews, case reports and a rat study, but no trial in people.
- A 2026 review of growth hormone peptides said stacking practices add uncertainty, including about blood sugar.
- The Egrifta SV (tesamorelin) label warns it can raise blood sugar. Two peptides that both affect blood sugar may add up.
- "Not tested" is not proof of harm. It means nobody knows.
Can you take two GLP-1 drugs together?
- No. The Wegovy label says not to use it with other semaglutide products or any GLP-1 drug.
- The Zepbound label says the same about other tirzepatide products and any GLP-1 drug.
- Lilly Medical says tirzepatide was not studied with other weight-loss drugs or GLP-1 drugs, and that its trials left out people who took weight-loss drugs in the last 3 months.
- The pill Foundayo (orforglipron) label also says not to use it with another GLP-1 drug.
Can you stack peptides with tirzepatide or retatrutide?
- Retatrutide is not FDA approved, and it acts on GLP-1. The Zepbound label says not to use Zepbound with any GLP-1 drug.
- Lilly says any retatrutide sold to consumers is unlawful. The FDA says it cannot be compounded.
- We found no study of tirzepatide or retatrutide mixed with BPC-157, CJC-1295 or other unapproved peptides.
- If you take a GLP-1 drug, check other medicines with your pharmacist. GLP-1s slow the stomach, which can change how pills are absorbed.
Can peptide blends like KLOW double up a peptide?
- Yes. Seller pages say KLOW and GLOW contain BPC-157, TB-500 and GHK-Cu (KLOW adds KPV).
- If you also take BPC-157 or TB-500 alone, you take more of it than you may think.
- A label alone does not prove what is in a vial. The FDA does not check "research use only" products.
What does a real combination study look like?
- CagriSema mixes cagrilintide with semaglutide. Its REDEFINE 1 trial tested the mix in 3,417 adults for 68 weeks.
- People on the mix lost 20.4% of their weight vs 3.0% on placebo.
- Stomach side effects happened in 79.6% vs 39.9% on placebo.
- It is still waiting for an FDA decision. This is the kind of proof most online stacks do not have.
Can you stack peptides with testosterone?
- No FDA label covers taking unapproved peptides with testosterone.
- Testosterone is a prescription drug with its own risks.
- Talk to a doctor who knows everything you take.
Is there a safe peptide stacking chart?
- No chart can make an untested mix safe. Our chart below shows only whether each mix was tested together and what labels say.
- We do not give stack recipes or doses.
- Tell your doctor, pharmacist and any surgery team about every peptide you take.
