Peptide comparison tool

Compare 2 peptides side by side: FDA status, proof, safety, and sports rules.

Short answer: Pick any two peptides to see them side by side. Each one gets 3 separate ratings: FDA status (the law), proof it works in people (the science), and how much safety data exists. You also see what it was studied for and whether sports ban it. No doses, prices, or sellers.

Both: Not an FDA-approved medicine. This alone does not tell you if it works.

Proof it works in people the science
Early

Only 3 tiny reports in people (30 people in all), with no fake-shot group to compare.

Animal or lab only

No published study of TB-500 itself in people. Small trials tested the full natural protein instead.

Safety data in people how much we know
Very little

About 30 people, for a short time. Long-term risks are unknown.

Very little

No published safety data for TB-500 shots in people.

Sports (WADA)
Banned in sports

Yes. WADA names BPC-157 by name as banned at all times, in and out of competition (2026 list, section S0: drugs not approved for people).

Banned in sports

Yes. WADA bans TB-500 at all times, in and out of competition.

FDA status, proof, and safety are rated separately. Little safety data means risks are unknown, not that a peptide fails. "Not FDA approved" is not the same as illegal. We never share doses or link research-peptide sellers.

BPC-157 vs TB-500: which is better?

No one knows. Neither is FDA approved, and no study has compared them. BPC-157 has 3 tiny reports in people. We found no published study of TB-500 itself in people.

Both are banned in sports by WADA. See our full BPC-157 vs TB-500 guide.

Semaglutide vs tirzepatide: which works better for weight loss?

In a 72-week head-to-head trial of 751 adults with obesity, people on tirzepatide (Zepbound) lost about 20.2% of their weight on average. People on semaglutide (Wegovy) lost about 13.7%.

Both are FDA approved. Stomach side effects were the most common with both.

Retatrutide vs tirzepatide: what is the difference?

Tirzepatide (Zepbound, Mounjaro) is FDA approved. It works on 2 hormone switches: GLP-1 and GIP.

Retatrutide works on 3: GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon. It is still in testing and is not approved. People online call it "GLP-3."

Numbers from separate trials are not a fair comparison. Only a head-to-head trial can say which works better.

Ipamorelin vs tesamorelin: what is the difference?

Tesamorelin (Egrifta) is FDA approved for one thing: reducing deep belly fat in adults with HIV. A big trial with 412 people met its goal.

Ipamorelin is not approved. No study in people has tested it for muscle, sleep, or anti-aging.

WADA bans both in sports.

Why does this tool show 3 separate ratings?

FDA status is about the law. Proof is about the science. Safety data is about how much we know about harms. They do not always match.

A peptide can be approved for one use and unproven for another. A peptide with little safety data has unknown risks. That does not mean it does not work.

"Not FDA approved" does not by itself mean illegal to have. Our legal guide explains the rules.

Is there a peptide price comparison tool?

Not here. People search for "peptide price comparison," but we never list research-peptide prices, doses, or sellers. We do not recommend vendors.

For FDA-approved medicines, ask your pharmacist or the drug maker’s official site about cost.

FAQ

Can I compare any two peptides?

Yes. Pick any two of the 50 peptides on our A-Z list, one in each box.

Where do the ratings come from?

From our peptide pages. Each rating is based on FDA pages, FDA drug labels, PubMed, or ClinicalTrials.gov, checked in October 2026.

Can I share a comparison?

Yes. The page address changes to match your picks, like #bpc-157-vs-tb-500. Copy and send it.

Does "banned in sports" mean it shows up on a work drug test?

No. Sports tests and work tests look for different things. Use our drug test checker to see both.

Why is a peptide I searched for missing?

We only list peptides we have fact-checked. Use our FDA status checker or contact us to suggest one.
