$50 a month

GLP-1 Bridge, July 1, 2026 to Dec 31, 2027. Covers Foundayo, Wegovy (pill or pen) and the Zepbound KwikPen. CMS

$274 per 30 days

Negotiated price from Jan 1, 2027 for Ozempic, Rybelsus and Wegovy (semaglutide). 2024 list price: $959. This is the price Medicare drug plans pay for a 30-day supply. It is not your copay. Your share depends on your plan. Weight loss alone is still not a Part D use. CMS

Who can get the Bridge, per CMS:

  • BMI 35 or more, or
  • BMI 30 or more plus heart failure with preserved ejection fraction, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or kidney disease stage 3a or worse, or
  • BMI 27 or more plus prediabetes, a past heart attack or stroke, or leg artery disease with symptoms

People with type 2 diabetes, moderate-to-severe sleep apnea or MASH (fatty liver with scarring) are not eligible for the Bridge; their Part D plan covers GLP-1s for those uses. Coupons cannot be used with the Bridge. CMS rules for plans · Will insurance cover my peptide?

FAQ

How much does Zepbound cost?

Without insurance, Lilly's self-pay price for Zepbound (tirzepatide) vials or KwikPen is $299 for 2.5 mg, $399 for 5 mg, and $449 for 7.5 mg to 15 mg if you refill within 45 days. Late refills cost $499 (7.5 mg) or $699 (10 mg to 15 mg). With commercial insurance that covers it, single-dose pens can be as low as $25. Checked Oct 30, 2026.

How much does Wegovy cost without insurance?

NovoCare lists the Wegovy pill at $149 (1.5 mg), $199 (4 mg) or $299 (9 mg and 25 mg) a month. The Wegovy pen is $349 a month for 0.25 mg to 2.4 mg and $399 for Wegovy HD 7.2 mg. New patients pay $199 for the first 2 fills of 0.25 mg or 0.5 mg through Dec 31, 2026.

How much is Ozempic without insurance?

NovoCare lists the Ozempic pen at $349 a month for 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg or 1 mg and $499 for 2 mg, with $199 for the first 2 fills for new patients through Dec 31, 2026. Ozempic pills are $149 to $299 a month by strength. Ozempic is for type 2 diabetes.

What is the cheapest GLP-1 without insurance?

On Oct 30, 2026, the lowest maker self-pay price was $149 a month, for the starting strength of the Wegovy pill, the Ozempic pill and Foundayo. Prices rise with higher strengths. Which medicine fits you is a decision for your doctor.

Does Medicare cover Wegovy or Zepbound?

Yes, for people who qualify. CMS says the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge covers Foundayo, Wegovy (pill or pen) and the Zepbound KwikPen for a $50 monthly copay from July 1, 2026 to Dec 31, 2027. Zepbound vials are not included. Your doctor needs prior approval.

What is the $274 Medicare price for Ozempic and Wegovy?

CMS says Medicare's negotiated price for semaglutide (Ozempic, Rybelsus, Wegovy) is $274 for a 30-day supply from Jan 1, 2027, down from a $959 list price in 2024. That is what Medicare drug plans pay, not your copay.

What is TrumpRx, and is it cheaper for Wegovy?

TrumpRx.gov is a federal website that gives a pharmacy coupon for a maker's self-pay price. On Nov 3, 2026 its Wegovy pen page showed the same prices as NovoCare: $199 for the first 2 fills of 0.25 mg or 0.5 mg for new patients (through Dec 31, 2026), then $349 a month, and $399 for Wegovy HD 7.2 mg. So for Wegovy it is not cheaper than buying self-pay from the maker.

Does TrumpRx work with insurance or Medicare?

No. TrumpRx says its offer is for self-pay patients only. You cannot ask your insurance to pay you back, and the cost does not count toward your deductible or out-of-pocket limit. If you have insurance or qualify for Medicare's $50 GLP-1 Bridge, check that price first, since it may be lower.

Will Wegovy and Ozempic get cheaper in 2027?

Their list price will. Novo Nordisk says the list price of Wegovy (pen and pill), Ozempic and Rybelsus drops to $675 a month for every dose on Jan 1, 2027, about 50% lower for Wegovy and 35% for Ozempic. This mainly helps people whose cost is tied to list price, like high-deductible or coinsurance plans. Novo says self-pay prices do not change.

How do I use TrumpRx for Wegovy, Ozempic or Zepbound?

TrumpRx.gov does not prescribe or sell medicine. First get a valid prescription from your own clinician. Open the drug page on TrumpRx.gov, pick the form and strength (and, for Wegovy or Ozempic pens, how many fills you have had), and accept the self-pay terms. For Wegovy and Ozempic, TrumpRx gives a pharmacy coupon to show at a participating retail pharmacy. For Zepbound vials, TrumpRx says Eli Lilly manages orders through LillyDirect, which confirms eligibility and offers delivery. Checked Nov 3, 2026 on TrumpRx.gov.

Is TrumpRx cheaper than GoodRx?

They are different tools. TrumpRx.gov is a federal site that shows a maker's self-pay coupon or sends you to LillyDirect. GoodRx is a commercial discount and comparison site. On Nov 3, 2026, TrumpRx's Wegovy pen and Ozempic pen pages showed the same maker self-pay prices as NovoCare ($199 for the first 2 starter fills through Dec 31, 2026, then $349 or $499 by strength). We do not list GoodRx dollar amounts here because they change by pharmacy and are not maker list prices. Always compare your insurance copay first; TrumpRx itself says it may be lower.

Who can use TrumpRx prices?

TrumpRx terms (checked Nov 3, 2026 on its Wegovy and Ozempic pages) say the offer is for self-pay patients who are 18 or older, live in the US or a US territory, and have a valid brand prescription. If you have Medicare, Medicaid, VA, DOD, TRICARE or other government coverage — or any insurer — you must not ask that plan to repay you, and the cash cost does not count toward a deductible or out-of-pocket limit. Medicare's $50 GLP-1 Bridge is separate and often lower if you qualify.

When is Medicare open enrollment, and what should I check for GLP-1s?

Medicare open enrollment runs October 15 to December 7, 2026 for coverage that starts January 1, 2027 (Medicare.gov). The plan must get your request by December 7. The Medicare GLP-1 Bridge ($50 a month for Foundayo, Wegovy and the Zepbound KwikPen, if you qualify) runs outside Part D through December 31, 2027, so you do not need a new plan just to keep Bridge access — but you still need eligible Part D coverage, and switching to a plan type the Bridge does not work with can end it. If you take a GLP-1 for diabetes, sleep apnea, MASH or heart risk through Part D (not the Bridge), check each plan's 2027 drug list, tiers and prior-authorization rules before you switch.

How much does Mounjaro cost?

We could not verify a Mounjaro self-pay price on Lilly's own page on Oct 30, 2026, so we do not show one. Check Lilly's Mounjaro pricing page or ask your pharmacy. We will add it once we can read it at the source.
